You know, this holiday season. It is my sincere desire that you have a chance to really understand the true meaning of Christmas.

I myself—I wasn’t a holiday person growing up: we didn’t have much, and the seasons were not the happiest times, but as I got older and then really understood the meaning of the season, I had a chance to develop my own relationship.

And I can guarantee now that nothing in the world could compare to the love the God has given me.

So I pray that you also find the same joy that I found. And to everyone of you I hope you could truly say someday that you’d rather have Jesus than silver and gold.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Here we go.

Silver and gold
Coming straight at you
Silver and gold
In Jesus’ name
Come on family
Don’t give me

Don’t give me a mansion
On top of the hill
Don’t give me the world
With a shallow thrill
Just give me a savior
But just give me a saviour
Hallelujah
My life
My life He can hold
Can you lift your hands and say?
I’d rather
I’d rather have have Jesus Jesus
Oh somebody say hallelujah
I’d rather have Jesus
I’d rather
I’d rather
Have have Jesus Jesus
Listen

I’d rather have Jesus than silver and gold
No fame or fortune
Nor riches untold
I’d rather have Jesus than silver and gold

When i’m sick
When i’m sick
Can’t get well
Can’t get well
Jesus Jesus

When i’m down
When i’m down
Down and out
Down and out
Who’s there Jesus.

No money in my pocket,
No money in my pocket,
No food on the table.
No food on the table.
Who’s there Jesus.
I’d rather have Jesus
No money in my pocket,
No money in my pocket,
No food on the table.
No food on the table.
I’m glad each day
Jesus.

And you know what family?
Can’t nobody do me like Jesus
Can somebody say nobody
Can’t nobody do me like Jesus
Can’t nobody do me like Jesus
Can’t nobody do me like Jesus

What’s his name
Jesus
Somebody say … us
Jesus
Jesus

Just say Jesus
Jesus

Come on family
Let’s bless it, let’s …

Can you say Jesus
Jesus
Jesus

Play by me
